Deadline approaching for Higher Diploma in Food Product Innovation & Enterprise

The deadline is fast approaching for LYIT’s new Higher Diploma in Food Product Innovation and Enterprise (Level 8). Local Enterprise Office Donegal and LYIT have joined forces to present this course, and applications must be in before Friday, 19th November 2021.

The Higher Diploma in Food Product Innovation and Enterprise is co-funded by the Local Enterprise Office, Donegal County Council. Places are limited and there is a remaining fee of €1,350 to be paid by the participant, which can be paid in instalments throughout the course.

Participants of this programme will acquire a new and comprehensive understanding of the strategic issues facing the food and drink industry. The course will examine the unprecedented opportunities around feeding billions of new global consumers; how the sector can be more sustainable; how to use food to improve the wellbeing of every citizen on the planet, and how to spend the wall of capital flooding into global agribusiness and food from external investors. Lessons will be illustrated through a series of structured experiences with Irish food producers and guest lectures from senior executives in the Irish food and drink sector.
