The first of the training programmes is The ILM (Level 3/QQl Level 5) award in Leadership and Management which starts on Monday, 25th April and will run for 10 weeks. The programme is aimed at newly appointed or aspiring team leads and existing supervisors. It will enable employees to gain an awareness of leadership knowledge, develop strong communication skills, as well as mentoring skills to develop junior staff or new entries.
During the course, participants will gain valuable learnings such as developing their knowledge and understanding of leadership, building on their potential and capacity as a front-line manager and at the end will achieve accreditation with a nationally recognised qualification. The second programme, the ILM Certificate in Leadership and Management (Level 4/QQI Level 6) will begin on Wednesday, 27th of April and will run for 20 weeks. This programme is designed for new and aspiring department heads, regional team leaders and other middle managers. It will enable learners to gain comprehensive business knowledge and develop the skills they need to lead at this level.
The programme aim is to equip employees who are currently performing, or recently appointed to a supervisory management role, with enhanced skills to lead and manage their teams.
